We’d like to put out a gentle reminder regarding cancellation of appointments. Let me begin by saying, this is a business ... Our employees earn a living by working here. It’s how they pay their bills, feed their families, and enjoy life. When appointments are canceled last minute or are completely missed, that is money out of their pockets. We understand that things happen and sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances that result in missed appointments. However, when it becomes a habit and a repetitive issue, it hurts them financially. We kindly ask that as a courtesy, you call if you are going to miss an appointment. 24-hour cancellations may be a little too late to fill the spot, but it DOES allow for it to happen. No-shows and last minute cancellations, however (especially repeat offenders), do not leave time to fill that spot and that is essentially money lost. And for the same reasons, we ask that you please not schedule the same service on two different days because you are undecided on the date/time. That takes up time where another client could schedule something for him/herself.
So as a reminder of our policy, we will be adding 50% of a no-show or less than 24-hour cancellation appointment cost to your next visit. For example, if you no-show or call to cancel a $100 appointment in less than 24-hours, you will be charged an additional $50 when you come in for your next appointment. We love each and every one of you and are confident you will understand why this is a policy that needs to be implemented.
